1. About College Flex

College Flex is an independent educational consulting service providing guidance for U.S. undergraduate applications.

College Flex is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any college, university, application platform, testing organization, scholarship provider, government agency or immigration authority.

Admission, financial-aid, scholarship, visa and enrollment decisions are made exclusively by the institutions and authorities concerned.

2. Our Services

College Flex services may include:

• Applicant profile and priority assessment.
• College research and selection.
• Application strategy and planning.
• Personal statement and supplementary essay guidance.
• Review of extracurricular activities and application materials.
• Guidance concerning letters of recommendation.
• Financial-aid and cost-of-attendance guidance.
• Post-decision counseling.
• General guidance concerning enrollment and travel-related disruptions.

The particular services, schedule, deliverables and fees applicable to each client may be described in a proposal, invoice, engagement letter or other written agreement.

If a separate written service agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the separate service agreement will control for the services covered by it.

3. Educational Guidance Only

College Flex provides educational consulting and application guidance. Our services do not constitute legal, immigration, tax, investment or professional financial-planning advice.

Information concerning colleges, application requirements, deadlines, financial aid, visas, travel restrictions and political or security conditions may change without notice. Applicants and families remain responsible for confirming important information directly with the relevant institution or authority.

4. No Guarantee of Admission or Financial Aid

College Flex cannot and does not guarantee:

• Admission to any college or university.
• Placement on or removal from a waitlist.
• Scholarships or financial-aid awards.
• A particular financial-aid amount.
• Approval of a student visa.
• Permission to enter or remain in any country.
• The availability of a particular academic program, housing option or campus experience.
• Any particular academic, professional or employment outcome.

College Flex will provide guidance carefully and in good faith, but application decisions depend on factors outside our control.

5. Applicant Responsibilities

Applicants and families agree to:

• Provide complete, accurate and truthful information.
• Inform College Flex promptly of relevant changes or new information.
• Review all application materials before submission.
• Verify application requirements and deadlines.
• Attend scheduled meetings or provide reasonable notice of cancellation.
• Respond to requests for information, drafts or approvals in a timely manner.
• Maintain access to their application, email and testing accounts.
• Pay agreed fees according to the applicable payment schedule.
• Comply with the rules of colleges, application platforms and testing organizations.

Applicants are ultimately responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timely submission of their applications.

College Flex is not responsible for a missed deadline, incomplete submission or other adverse result caused by delayed, inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by an applicant, family member or third party.

6. Applicant Authorship and Academic Integrity

Personal statements, supplementary essays and other applicant-authored materials must reflect the applicant's own experiences, ideas and voice.

College Flex may provide planning, feedback, editing and revision guidance. We will not knowingly fabricate experiences, credentials, awards or personal circumstances, and we will not impersonate an applicant.

College Flex may decline to prepare, revise or submit any material that we reasonably believe is false, misleading, plagiarized or inconsistent with an institution's rules.

Applicants remain responsible for ensuring that their submissions comply with all applicable honesty, authorship and certification requirements.

7. Parents and Guardians

When an applicant is a minor, College Flex may communicate with a parent or legal guardian concerning scheduling, payment, progress, college selection, application planning and other matters relevant to the engagement.

College Flex seeks to support both applicants and their families. However, the applicant's authentic voice, interests and educational priorities must remain central to the application process.

8. Application Accounts and Credentials

Applicants should maintain control of their college-application, email, testing and financial-aid accounts.

College Flex will not request or use account credentials unless access is reasonably necessary, expressly authorized and permitted by the applicable platform. Applicants should change any password shared for a limited purpose after that purpose has been completed.

Applicants are responsible for reviewing and approving all information before an application is submitted.

9. Fees, Payments and Cancellations

Fees, payment dates and included services will be communicated before an engagement begins.

Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, refund or early-termination terms will be stated in the relevant proposal, invoice, booking confirmation or service agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work already completed and expenses already incurred are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded.

College Flex may pause services if an agreed payment is overdue after reasonable notice.

10. Scheduling and Communication

Applicants and families are expected to attend scheduled consultations and respond within a reasonable period.

College Flex will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines. However, timely completion also depends on the applicant providing documents, drafts, decisions and approvals when requested.

Meeting times, communication channels and response expectations may be established separately for each engagement.

11. Confidentiality and Privacy

College Flex will treat applicant and family information as confidential and use it only as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer the engagement or comply with legal obligations.

Our collection and use of personal information are further explained in the College Flex Privacy Policy.

Applicants and families should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through unsecured channels.

12. Third-Party Platforms and Services

College Flex may refer to or assist applicants with third-party platforms and services, including college websites, the Common Application, testing organizations, video-conferencing services, scheduling providers and payment processors.

These services are operated independently and have their own terms, policies and technical requirements. College Flex is not responsible for third-party outages, errors, security incidents, policy changes or service interruptions.

13. Intellectual Property

The College Flex name, logo, website design, original written materials, planning frameworks, templates and educational resources belong to College Flex unless otherwise stated.

Clients may use materials supplied to them for their own personal college-application process. They may not reproduce, sell, publish or commercially distribute College Flex materials without written permission.

Applicants retain ownership of their original essays, documents and other materials. By providing those materials to College Flex, the applicant or family authorizes us to review, edit, store and otherwise use them only as necessary to provide the requested services.

14. Respectful Conduct

College Flex is committed to maintaining a professional and respectful advising environment.

We may suspend or terminate services where an applicant, family member or other participant engages in threatening, abusive, discriminatory, dishonest or unlawful conduct, or repeatedly fails to meet essential engagement responsibilities.

Where reasonably possible, College Flex will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before terminating services.

15. Suspension or Termination of Services

Either party may end an engagement according to the cancellation or termination provisions in the applicable service agreement.

College Flex may also suspend or terminate services when:

• Required information is repeatedly withheld.
• Agreed fees remain unpaid.
• Continued work would violate an institution's rules or applicable law.
• The applicant requests dishonest or misleading assistance.
• Circumstances make it impractical or unsafe to continue.

Ending an engagement does not remove payment obligations for services already performed.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, College Flex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services.

College Flex is not responsible for decisions made by colleges, universities, scholarship providers, testing organizations, application platforms, financial institutions, immigration authorities or government agencies.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, College Flex's total liability relating to a particular engagement will not exceed the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Website Availability

We aim to keep the College Flex website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all website information will always be complete or current.

We may change, suspend or remove website content when reasonably necessary.

18. Changes to These Terms

College Flex may update these Terms when our services, business practices or legal obligations change.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting an existing paid engagement will not apply retroactively unless required by law or agreed with the client.

19. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable consumer-protection and contract laws.

If a dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve it through direct, good-faith communication. If it cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue the remedies available under the applicable law and jurisdiction.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
